Looking for a more comprehensive course?
We can arrange a 3 hour or 6 hour family first aid course for a small group of friends or family at a time and place to suit you. We can even come to you if you have enough space.
In a longer course we can cover what to do in the worst case scenario: if a baby, child or adult is unconscious; and also emergencies such as choking, burns, breaks and head injuries. We also cover some of the more common childhood illnesses and everyday bumps, cuts and bruises and discuss the ideal contents of a family first aid kit. The extra time will give you plenty of opportunity to practice skills and discuss what you would do in different situations.
We also offer a more comprehensive 12-hour paediatric first aid course. This is the standard course for child minders and other professionals looking after children.
